"Cave Point"

My best friend Elizabeth and I went for a little drive to take some photos of a place up in Door County called Cave Point. The back lighting was pretty terrible for the most photogenic areas, but Elizabeth used the strong backlight to highlight me in a great picture that I'll post below. My photo was an HDR to make use of the light that I had.

"Bennet's Ball"

Today I got a chance to shoot some more action shots. Not a lot of chances to catch a good shot with a puppy running around furiously. And then when I would keep shooting, she'd just lie down and be sad she wasn't being played with, so I have to find a happy medium. Enjoy.

"Schizophrenia"

Today I went out with some friends to climb at Governor Dodge State Park, near Dodgeville, WI. Though the day wasn't productive for climbing for me, Mike and Dylan got on a few things and I was able to get a few pretty good pictures. As for the conditions, it was again clear that a lens with a higher aperture than 3.5 f-stop at 18mm. I often found myself more likely to use a full wide angle shot than zoomed in, so a wide angle lens with a larger aperture would be great some day. For now though, I really do like what I came up with.
